At JPLOOF (referred to as "we", "our", or "us"), operating from Nishishinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, we respect your privacy. This document outlines how we collect, process, and protect your personal information in complete compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) of Japan and standard regulatory policies under the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC) of Japan.

The responsible data handling entity is JPLOOF Co., Ltd. (Japan, Tokyo, Shinjuku City). Please note that we do not process styling data or support request inquiries over secondary external communication channels.

2. Scope of Information Gathering

We process data under the following parameters:

  • Submitted Information: Individual names, email addresses, voluntary mobile contact numbers, and specific custom curation requirements submitted through the digital forms.
  • Automatically Logged Information: Network parameters, device profiles, browser client identities, and session behaviors monitored through secure local cookies.
  • Consent Mode Integration: Google Consent Mode v2 flags (ad_storage, analytics_storage, personalization_storage) are continuously monitored to respect user configurations prior to activating tags.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing Data

We process personal data strictly in accordance with Article 18 of the APPI and relevant international standards. The processing table below outlines our purposes:

4. Google Consent Mode v2

This site deploys Google Consent Mode v2 in advanced configuration. Non-essential tracking parameters, advertising tags, and analytics profiles are strictly disabled (status: denied) by default. 5. Data Preservation and Deletion

Under APPI guidelines, personal information is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill curation services and legal preservation mandates. Upon expiration of the coordination service or upon formal deletion request, your files are destroyed or permanently anonymized using secure system procedures.

6. Rights of the Individual

As an individual, you hold comprehensive rights over your personal data under the Japanese APPI. This includes the right to request access, seek correction of errors, demand cessation of utilization (deletion), or restrict transfer to third parties. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you have the right to lodge a formal complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC) of Japan.

7. Children's Privacy

Our alternative design curation services are not targeted at individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally acquire or retain personal information from children under this age threshold. If we discover such information has been sent to our inbox without proper guardian authorization, we will remove it immediately.
